人間...かも He may love human beings

ビリーの歌を昨年から見つめ直している。Miami2017年の年であったこと、ビリーが好きだというと、色々な方から色々な質問を受ける。本人でもない限り全部の質問に正確に答えようとも思わないけれど、改めて結構自分も知らないことがあったり気づかせていただいたので、昨年はデビューアルバムから、ビリーが作っただけで歌ってないものや、スルーしがちな名曲も聞いて見た。

そこで思ったこと。ビリーが一番好きなのは人間、つまり人なんじゃないかなと。色々なシンガーソングライターが色々なことをテーマにして歌を書いているけれど、ビリーの歌詞は自分の想いだったり、誰かとの関係だったり、様々な場所や出来事への想いだったりが多い気がした。

例えば季節感だったり、自然の描写だったりはあまりない。動物や物に対することもあまりなかったりする気がする。

ビリーの歌には、人の名前が出て来ることも多い。そんなこともビリーがとても、色々な人を見つめて、理解しているからなのではとも思えて来る。

だからこそ、とても嬉しかったり、悲しかったり、そんな気持ちも歌にして行っているのではと思う。

これはあくまでも私の個人的感想であって、ビリーが言っていることではありませんが...

Since last year, I started to listen all of Billy's songs deeply and carefully.  Last year was Miami 2017 year.  Many people who know I am his big fan ask me about meaning or background of his songs.  I am not Billy.  I cannot answer all of the questions about him.  However, that is the good opportunity to listen or to know all of his songs including the songs hidden behind the famous songs.  

While I am listening his songs over and over, I realized Billy may like human beings a lot.  

His lyrics were written about his feelings, emotions, relationship between somebody or memories toward his favorite places or happenings.

We could hardly feel seasons or nature among his songs and also about animals or materials.  We often find somebody(s name in his lyrics.  I guess it means he is always watching and tries to understand each people around him.  Therefore, he depicts his very happy, sad emotions through his
