聞いていい曲、歌っていい曲 Nice to listen, nice to sing

皆さんは歌うのはお好きですか？私ビリーの歌を原キーでビリーのようにかっこよく歌いたいと、ひたすら練習しております。

ビリーの歌は聞いていると、心が動かされたり、熱くなったり、切なくなったりと色々な感情が湧いてきて心地よいですが、聞いている時あまり印象がない歌ってありませんか？

アルバムでも、どうしても耳に入ってこないような歌が一つ二つあるかもしれません。実は私もそんな歌が二つありました。でも歌い始めると歌が違う顔を見せてくれるのです。

一つ目はDon't ask me why

Glass Housesの３曲目に収録されているわけですが、この元気なロックテイストの中で、ちょっと機器は、大人しめの曲です。ライブでもよく歌われているし、カラオケにもあるので、なんでかな？と思っていましたが、ある日歌ってみることに。するとこの歌不思議な力がありました。なんかとてもハッピーな気分になるんです。理由は全くわからないのですが。以後、必ず気持ちをリラックスさせたいとき歌っています。それ以来この歌は聞くのも大好きです。

二つ目はBaby Grand

ビリーが敬愛してやまないレイチャールズにオファーしてコラボが実現した歌。JOY SOUNDにカラオケがあり、全曲歌えるようになりたかったので、歌って見たら、もう身体中に音楽がしみ込む感じで、これは最高でした。それ以来この曲も大好きです。

是非一度皆さんも試して見てください。

Do you like singing?  I really love to sing Billy's song with original key.  While listening his music, my heart moves and I feel touching, get emotionally and such feelings always made me comfortable.  Even so, I wonder sometimes few songs does not remain so much without any reason.

One day I noticed the songs are different from we are listening or singing.

I would like to write about such two songs.

First one:  Don't Ask Me Why

Glass Houses contains it as the 3rd track.  It sounds rather quiet compare with other rock-n'-roll songs.  Billy often sings this song at his concert.  In our country, it is not so popular.  But karaoke includes this song.  I wonder why so.  One day, I chose this song at Karaoke to sing.  While I was singing, I realized this song has a great power!  It made me so happy and comfortable.  Since then, I love to listen and sing the song.  I always choose this song whenever I want to be relaxed.  

Second one:  Baby Grand

You can listen the song among the album The Bridge.  This is collaborated with Ray Charles who is admired by Billy a lot.  Billy offered to sing together with him.  JOY SOUND karaoke machine includes this song.  We can sing the song through this karaoke.  One day I chose to sing this song.  I realized how wonderful this song when I started singing.  I felt the melody was soaking into my hole body  It was fantastic!  It was like a feeling I fell in love with this song.  Please try to listen or sing.
